1. Place a splice clip (teeth up) on the splice tool’s placement pins.

2. Center both carrier tapes (cover tape up) on the pins, and secure with the clamps.

3. Securely crimp the handle in place to ensure connect two carrier tapes.

4. Firmly press the cover tape after adding a splice tape strip on carrier tapes
